Daiwa 25 Caldia LT4000-C

The new Caldia retains the qualities that have made it famous over the years and takes them to the next level: exceptional lightness, outstanding build quality, and, last but not least, a sleek and elegant design. The body is still a ZAION V monocoque, but all the technological innovations brought by the AIRDRIVE DESIGN construction concept have been introduced. Introduced on the top-of-the-line 22EXIST and gradually adopted on the other series, the Caldia is now improved in the rotor, spool, bail, and line roller. The drag has also changed: the ATD-L is super-smooth when it comes to dampening the fish’s first stress and then hardens and brakes the fish’s escapes properly. The 5000 versions, newly introduced sizes for this series, feature a more power-oriented drag: an ATD Tough with carbon discs, designed to better handle large and powerful catches.

AIRDRIVE ROTOR
The new Airdrive rotor constructed of ZAION V has a more symmetrical and balanced design, built to minimize weight and rotational inertia.

AIRDRIVE BAIL
A state-of-the-art, super-lightweight and ultra-durable solid headband. The special shape, together with the new Twist Buster 3 roller, makes it extremely more effective in line sliding, significantly reducing the risk of tangles in fishing.

AIRDRIVE SPOOL
A newly designed spool, lightened and redesigned to maximize line outflow and avoid tangles during retrieval, thanks to a redesigned bottom edge profile.
